We are hiring a Tech Lead to help shape how our engineering team builds. You will own architectural direction for your area, make the AI-vs-human workflow calls for your team, and raise the technical bar.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the system architecture and technical direction of your area.

• Direct how AI tools and agents are used across the team's daily workflow, while maintaining clear engineering ownership and judgment over the outcome.

• Review and validate AI-generated and human-written work alike - your job is the quality bar.

• Manage and execute complex technical projects in a fast-moving, agile environment.

• Stay ahead of emerging tools and technologies, and drive adoption of the ones that actually move the team forward.

• Stay hands-on in critical areas of the system, including implementation, code reviews, debugging, and technical investigations.

• Take technical ownership of complex production issues and drive improvements that prevent them from recurring.

• Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical capabilities through technical guidance and design reviews.

​Requirements and skills

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with strong engineering fundamentals and experience building production-grade systems.

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead owning technical direction in complex systems.

• Deep expertise in system design and software architecture - including distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and performance trade-offs.

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices (AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes/containers, CI/CD).

• Deep familiarity with modern software development tools, workflows, and engineering practices.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and agents, with strong judgment around their strengths, limitations, and where they create meaningful leverage.

• Experience working in a fast-changing organization or growing startup.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
