Launching in Brazil

We launched a new subsidiary in Brazil! Based in São Paulo, BIRDS is a specialized provider of aerial security solutions tailored to the needs of major facilities across Brazil, with packages based on Orion DFM and Vega UTM.

We created this new company in collaboration with our partners Speedbird Aero and Cando Drones - our combined technology and operational expertise has created a powerful new player in the LATAM security sector.

Complying with international standards

We were proud to receive our ISO 9001, 27001 and 27701 certifications from the International Organization for Standardization.

These certificates confirm that we operate at international standards in terms of quality management systems, information security management systems, and personal data management protocols, respectively.

Focus on Orion

We held a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Orion Department, in its own office wing.

With the global community of Orion users growing fast in both number and industry, we decided to create development, support and business teams solely dedicated to this area of our operations.

ISC 2024

We attended the Israel Security Conference 2024 - an event showcasing the very latest technologies and strategies in the security industry.

We were proud to join Cando Drones and demonstrate our autonomous aerial security solution to fascinated crowds all day. Flying from two DJI docks, we showcased capabilities like multiple simultaneous flights, precision landing, live feed sharing, AI-powered object detection and remote payload control.

New employees

We welcomed no fewer than four new talents to our development department. Ofry Makdasy, Yotam Galinka, Daniel Dahan and Vasi Govorukhin are all gifted software engineers who will be applying their skills to developing and refining Orion and Vega.

This isn’t the end of our recruitment drive either - we have a number of great positions open, so be sure to check our vacancies page if you’re looking for a new adventure.

 Drone trivia time: answer

More than seventy. ”Ingenuity”, a drone specially designed for the harsh, airless environment of Mars, landed on the Red Planet along with the Perseverance Rover in February 2021. The intention was that it serve as a technology demonstrator and execute a handful of flights - but it greatly exceeded expectations. Ingenuity made 72 flights, racking up nine minutes of airtime and 17 kilometers of distance over three years of operation. To learn more about this amazing machine, read about it in our blog.
