High Lander is looking for the best QA Tester & System Operator


Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a technical mind and the ability to multitask. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our software on a day-to-day basis, managing complex flight plans over urban areas as part of the company’s groundbreaking projects in unmanned aviation. They will also be responsible for training clients on the use of our system, as part of these projects. They will be expected to help ensure the quality of the product, working in tandem with the development and QA teams.

Responsibilities

​

  • Plan and execute demonstrations for clients in Israel and abroad.

  • Training and implementation of the system for important clients.

  • Design, write and execute manual tests for High Lander products for our flagship project, including our dashboard, apps (iOS & Android), and server-side logics.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases (regressions).

  • Perform manual QA tests in the office and in the field as part of the Israel Drone Initiative project.

  • Review specifications and technical design documents of features to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

  • Be a technical and professional focal point inside the R&D team.

  • Estimate, plan and coordinate testing activities with the developers to ensure high-quality project execution upon timelines.

  • Own features of the product and perform all aspects of QA.


Requirements and Skiils

  • Organized and detail-oriented – must

  • Excellent mathematics and English (verbal and written) - must

  • Great training skills – must

  • Experience in QA engineering – advantage

  • Experience in a startup, agile working environment – advantage

  • Familiarity with the aviation industry – advantage

  • Car and valid driving license – advantage

  • Dynamism, strong teamwork skills, ability to quickly adapt to shifting tasks.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google apps, project management tools (Monday.com – advantage)

  • References (studies/army)
